Yacht Crew Australia was formed in 2002 on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. Lisa Bridgewater founded the business with a view to helping local and overseas crew find the best marine positions as possible, matching the crews current experience with the owners and captains of the Super Yacht industry.

Lisa has had twelve years experience in the Marine environment, firstly as an underwater photographer working on the Great Barrier Reef. Lisa has well over a 1000 hrs as an underwater photographer before moving into the Luxury yacht market. Deciding to remain above water for the rest of her Nautical career she travelled globally for several years.

Sea time was served on a number of Luxury Super Yachts and as Chief Stewardess she undertook several tours of duty in the West Indies, three seasons working on the East Coast of the United States and two seasons working in the Mediterranean, undertaking the charter circuit from the South of France right through to Turkey and beyond, with service as bridge watch keeper, dive master and guest co-coordinator have been just some of her responsibilities.

Well versed in managing a team of Stewardesses for "back to back" Charter operations, Lisa fully understands what an Owner will expect of his crew and what the Captain will require of his team. Lisa's knowledge of the industry will ensure that any candidate put forward for any position has a very good chance of meeting the expectations of the employer. Lisa's small team will provide you with a highly personalized and efficient service.

Many of her clients return time and time again and the crew who register with Lisa regularly keep in contact as they cruise the waters.
